It can be burned to disc using any standard Mac or Windows disc burner software. iso file is ready to be archived or distributed to your client. There should now be an additional image file on your Desktop named Master.iso. To rip DVD to ISO on Mac OS X, you can go DVD Backup and select 'Clone DVD to ISO Image' mode. Start up Terminal and from the command line prompt change directory to your Desktop. This will create a Master.cdr disk image on the Desktop that contains the files and folders you selected. For the sake of this tutorial, name the image âMasterâ and save it on your Desktop. In the resulting dialog, select none for Encryption and DVD/CD master for the Image Format. Navigate to the master folder that contains the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, and confirm your selection by clicking the Image button. Start up Disk Utility, and under the File menu choose New > Disk Image from Folder. Steps are for Mac OS X Tiger, but should be nearly identical on Panther and Leopard. Enter the following command to burn the iso image to a disk: hdiutil burn //bm.iso.Note: This tutorial assumes that you already have the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files/folders copied onto your hard drive, under a master folder. The newly created iso image is present at the location. Hopefully these simple steps will save you some trouble.
